Gaden Tripa Lungrik Namgyal Rinpoche is the current holder to the throne of 'Tushita', the supreme head of the Gelug lineage. The major monasteries - Gaden, Drepung and Sera, as well as the famous Tantric colleges of Gyuto and Gyumed, all belong to the school of Gelug. His status is the same as Lama Tsongkhapa on earth.

Letters from Gaden Shartse Monastery to Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and Kechara House
(Letter 1) Since its opening this year up till today, Gaden Shartse Norling Clinic has taken care of over 13,000 patients both monk and laity. We of Kechara House find it a great honor and meritorious act to serve the Sangha of Gaden Shartse Monastery. congratulations and emotional support.
(Letter 2) Every year Gaden, Sera and Drepung gather for Jamyang Gunchoe debates. Around 1,500 monks or more would gather for these debates and intense learning sessions. Tsem Rinpoche and Kechara House are sponsoring the food for the whole one month for the monks of Gaden Shartse.

An Urgent Appeal from Tsem Ladrang
KB, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's personal attendant and head of the Domestic Department in Tsem Ladrang has just received news from Nepal that his mother passed away on August 23, 2008 due to breathing difficulties. Tsem Ladrang is in the midst of arranging the flight details for KB and we estimate that the total cost will be approximately RM8,000 including the one and a half month ritual rites.

Connections Across the Causeway -
Further to HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s advice, the Liaisons have initiated a monthly visiting program to foster closer relations with our Singapore cell group. Every month, one of the Liaisons will go to Singapore to visit the cell group to share the Dharma and Rinpoche’s vision for our organisation.
August 13, 2008 Kechara Soup Kitchen is reborn! -
The Liaison Council has been working very hard over the weekend to rectify and refine management and operational issues which had caused the closure of Kechara Soup Kitchen. The Council is pleased to announce that as the issues have been resolved and we have fulfilled H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s requirements, Rinpoche has given his blessings for KSK to be reborn.
